Obsessed Ewan Murray fires off another bizarre Celtic theory

It almost seems that everything wrong with Scottish football is linked in some way to Celtic in the eyes of Ewan Murray.

Few people other than the golf reporter at The Guardian could bring Celtic in on the decision by Dundee to appoint Mark McGhee as their manager. Murray however spotted the links.

His latest issue is the reduction in tickets to Celtic fans for next month’s Scottish Cup tie away to Dundee United.

Normally United are happy to pick up ticket money from Celtic fans in the West Stand (Shed) but for the cup tie they are hoping to fill that section with their own fans.

Fair enough, the cup draw gave them home advantage, as per the rules of the Scottish Cup ticket prices have to be agreed, Celtic have stood by the £27 price point which judging by their statement United wanted to have a much lower price.

The issue seems to be of interest to a Hearts fan paid primarily to cover golf.

Rather than comment on the news from The Guardian Murray tweets his comment onto a report in The Sun, it seems that ticket trivia doesn’t interest his employers as much as it exercises their golf reporter.

In 2019 and 2020 Celtic beat Hearts in the final of the Scottish Cup.
