‘A who’s who of Rangers tax cheats’ ‘Livingston was robbed’ ‘As anti Celtic a show as you’re ever likely to have’ Sportscene under attack

It seems that Sportscene has given up any attempt to appear impartial.

With Steven Thompson appearing to be as comfortable as David Tanner in front of the auto-cue the show effectively starts a man down. What Thompson’s qualifications are no-one really knows.

Teaming Thommo up with Kenny Miller and Richard Forster all that is missing is the red, white and blue bunting as they attempt to cover the weekend action in the SPFL Premiership.

Miller appears to be desperately chasing a career in the media with regular slots on Sky Sports, Radio Clyde and BBC Scotland around his shifts in the Falkirk dug-out.

Forster still plays for Partick Thistle but it seems that his choice of club was governed by the nearness to the BBC studios at Pacific Quay.

With highly selective editing the BBC team can control the narrative from the weekend matches. Celtic fans know the script but if Ange can keep his side winning over the last eight matches there will be more misery for the producers and presenters to serve up.
