Dave King’s campaign paying off as Ibrox fans turn on board

The Ibrox board has been accused of fuelling a disconnect with fans with the friendly against Celtic providing a focus for discontent.

Stewart Robertson and James Bisgrove are the main targets for angry fans with a number of issues being raised while the board keeps a low profile apart from when it comes to asking for more cash.

Various kits have been launched with Castore Sport, last weekend gullible punters discovered that the historic all-white kit in memory of the club that died in 2012 hadn’t been registered with the SFA or SPFL.

The growing discontent comes on the back of a short visit from Dave King who has been left with a rump of rapidly diluting shares that Club 1972 have been unable to take off his hands.

Kings first interview with the Herald/Times slammed the decision to play in the Sydney Super Cup, that was quickly followed by The Scottish Express obtaining details of Steven Gerrard’s transfer budget frustrations with Keith Jackson completing the news cycle with a blistering attack on Bisgrove.

It seems that those grievances are being taken up by angry fans who have been met with a wall of silence with fan media reps realising that certain issues are out of bounds.
