Even by their own low-standards the Ibrox support has plunged new depths in recent weeks.

Led by the Union Bears and with no prospect of any condemnation from the football authorities, their own club or Police Scotland they have recently been pushing their agenda of hatred even further.

Sky Sports and Radio Scotland were happy to broadcast The Billy Boys and The Famine Son without offering any apology or comment from today’s match at Dens Park.

Adding to the atmosphere today was three interruptions as Ibrox Season Ticket holders launched a barrage of toilet rolls and tennis balls onto the pitch at pre-arranged times.

Trailing 1-0 at half-time the second half was less than a minute gone when more missiles came down from the away end as their fans celebrated their hatred of Kaflikz.

As play was held up the Sky Sports cameras zoomed in on Allan McGregor uttering a phrase that even amateur lip-readers could pick up straight away.

In the 86th minute, having missed a first half penalty, Connor Goldson scored the winning goal for the visitors to reduce the gap at the top of the table down to three points with Celtic better off by 14 in terms of goal difference.
