In mid-December Celtic’s title hopes were hanging by a thread. 

Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota were both out with hamstring injuries, Adam Montgomery and Josip Juranovic were playing as wingers with Carl Starfelt red carded away to Ross County. The scores had been level since the 57th minute when Jack Baldwin scored from a set-piece. 

At Ibrox the homeside were coasting to a 2-0 win over St Johnstone, while Celtic had a cup final at the weekend another home win over Dundee United would extend the lead further under their new improved manager, Giovanni van Bronckhorst. 

To turn the match around Ange Postecoglou through on Owen Moffat for his Celtic debut, 70 minutes, 80 minutes and 90 minutes were reached with the hoops still level against Ross County and down to 10 men. 

Six minutes into stoppage time Ralston stayed up for a corner, headed the winner to send relief throughout the Celtic support. 

Three months later Celtic are three points in front, with Ralston eight matches away from a cherished medal to complete an incredible turnaround.
