Mystery over Celtic’s ticket allocation for Ibrox

With less than two weeks to go there is still no word over whether Celtic will be allocated any tickets for the Glasgow derby on April 3.

Both matches so far this season have been played without any away fans present although Stewart Robertson told Sky Sports last month that normal allocations would be resumed for the two remaining fixtures.

So far both clubs have remained silent on the issues lending to the suggestion that talks are on-going without agreement being reached.

If there is no allocation to Celtic fans the same situation will apply in the post-split fixture at Celtic Park.

SPFL rules are that a sufficient number of tickets should be offered to away fans but as they have shown with the Cinch sponsorship the Ibrox club does whatever they like without any punishments from the football authorities.
