Willie Collum will referee Sunday’s Glasgow derby- the first time that he has been in charge of the fixture for over a year.
The Lanarkshire based referee was appointed to take charge of the fixture when it was scheduled for January 2 but when it was rearranged for February 2 the game was handed to Bobby Madden.
David Roome and Graeme Stewart, both also from Lanarkshire, will assists Collum. Just over a year ago they were with Madden on an appointment to Greece when Roome tested positive. Despite being ordered to self isolate Stewart ran the line at a Hibs v Hamilton match with Madden a late call off from Celtic’s trip to Ross County.
Collum has already refereed two Celtic matches this year, the 2-0 home win over Hibs in January followed by the 3-2 win at Aberdeen in February. He has also had two fixtures involving Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side, the 5-0 home win over Hearts on February 6 and the 1-0 win away to St Johnstone on March 2.
Nick Walsh is the fourth official, in his day job he is a PE teacher at Boclair Academy in Bearsden.

As we all know to our disadvantage Willie has eyes in the back of his head.
Who cares, we play well we win. Madden was ref last Celtic vs rangers game, and we won 3-0. Sick of listening about this stuff, about refs. The best team 9 times out of 10 wins, it’s as simple as that. Try being a supporter of non glasgow clubs, now they have a right to have a grievance with refs, cos they get nothing against Celtic, and rangers.
Editor: Last time we played Rangers it was Mulgrew, Commons and Hooper that scored. A non Lanarkshire referee would be a good start, other reforms should also be on the way.
