The Tribute Act has opened a very toxic can of worms by calling dissatisfied fans a rump.
That comment may have been directed at the leadership of Club 1872 but is now being taken as a badge of honour by fans waking up to the fact that they have been fleeced and patronised in equal measures by their Board of Directors.
Tuesday’s warring statements between the Tribute Act and Club 1872 opened up some wounds, on Facebook this morning Craig Houston from Sons of Struth let rip with a very detailed and highly personal attack on PR guru David Graham.
Hoosty wasn’t rewarded for his efforts to remove the Easdale’s from the company, seven years on from Dave King revolution he still carries a lot of backing from ordinary fans angered by the rump comment and the general disdain shown to loyal bears.
On Facebook Hoosty was swamped with support.
Brian Lorimer rallied to the cause: Spot on Craig. they want it this way then there will only be 1 winner and it isn’t him/them. Difference is this time we start from experience and know how to deal with them. ready when needed
Duncan Kee said: Well….apparently the definition of the word ‘Rump’ is this: “a small or unimportant remnant of something originally larger”. Perhaps old Davie boy is telling us in secret code that we are small and unimportant? Ok….no worries….if he’s looking for a fight I think he might just have found one with I would imagine the majority of Rangers supporters.
Ian Palmer added: Well said Craig, the statement made Sky sports news, that made it even more embarrassing as now the board look even more childish. From your story of Mr.Graham, it seems that power has gone to his head and seems an untrustworthy person. Sorry you’ve been dragged out of ‘retirement’ but you’re closer to this than most of us,
Billy McKie waded in with: Brilliant Craig glad you are on our side a board out of touch with the fans will lose support so very quick look at the past with green and his cohorts
Robert Farquar chimed in with: Well said and I think the rump he speaks of will no doubt be the rod that breaks his back, utterly unacceptable from him and his out of touch bosses and cohorts, and whenever they decide to “deal” with us we will stand ready and armed to deal with them
Alan Kemp added: Graham, Robertson, Bisgrove, need removing from the Club. And replaced with better caliber of personnel. Also Parks son he’s the problem apparently behind the scenes.
Julie Dodds replied: Brilliant spot on, terrible that it has come to this, Well he has just shot himself In the foot, The Rump of the support as he puts it are the 1s putting money into the club every week. The rump of the club spend a fortune on tickets, merchandise & travel to see Rangers.
Finally, Stuart O’Neil said: Hi Craig. I loved your passon for the club and determination to drive out Fat Mike and the Easdales. Some people called you a blazer chaser, I didn’t. The split between board and fans is now as bad as it was in the Ashley years. Has Dave King got a part in all this.Is his gripe with the current board tearing Rangers apart. The infighting will only harm Rangers as a club. Is it too much to ask for everyone to sit down as adults and try and get some common ground. Personality clashes and mud slinging through the media doesn’t help anyone except the enemies of the club.

Hoosty, the man who convinced fan’s tae scrap two guys fae paisley that gave the clumpany over £2.5m interest free loan’s fir a guy who charged 8% on his loan’s, go figure
HH
They won’t get that point of yours as they can’t count but your bang on the money with that point regarding figures.
Cant wait till Ashley comes back and bites them on the arse.
Jeeeeessuuus.
The ignorance of these fans knows no bounds…” is Dave King’s gripe with the board tearing Rangers apart” one asks…
Dave King is only interested in getting the max he can out of his investment, every share issue reduces it, he will happily tear Rangers apart if it means him getting most of his cash back…a prime example of why the first club died and this one is following it to the grave.
Bill Struth the bigots hero,so glad he is dead, but the bigotted club (The new Rangers) continues to uphold his vile prejudices despite signing players of Roman Catholic persuasion and currently playing for the new club, with what is going on in the world please get a life you sad people .
Your club is dying as I tweet, grab every opportunity to fill the coffers you can, this includes Australia.Do the ex-pats not deserve to see their heroes as much as Scotland. They most likely feel every defeat as hard as you do.Why deny them the chance to see them go under (liquidation again ), H H.
