Andrew Dallas makes his Celtic return

Andrew Dallas takes charge of Celtic for the first time this season when St Johnstone pay a visit on Saturday.

Last season the Lanarkshire based referee took charge of three Celtic away matches before his season came to a halt in December through injury.

Dallas has been fourth official at a few Celtic matches this season but the final post-split match is just the fourth Premiership match this season that he has taken charge of. Alan Muir is the fourth official.

Saturday’s match against St Johnstone gives Celtic the chance to move nine points clear in the title race with Giovanni van Bronckhorst taking his side to St Mirren the following day where John Beaton will be in charge.

After the weekend fixtures the SPFL will announce the post-split fixture card with Celtic due to get three of the five matches at home including a Glasgow derby which could go a long way to deciding the destination of the Premiership title.
