It came as absolutely no surprise when Tavpen reappeared just past the hour mark at Motherwell today.
Leading 2-1 but surprisingly down to 10 men Nick Walsh barely needed any encouragement to point to the penalty spot when Fashion Sakala was dispossessed by Bevis Mugabi.
It was the sort of penalty box challenge that you see a few times in every game, the Motherwell defender appeared to do everything right but not according to Walsh who’ll be back at the PE department of Boclair Secondary on Monday, working with Murray Park starlets.

Walsh did cause something of a shock in the 28th minute when he showed a red card to Leon Balogun- just the second sending off of an Ibrox player in the last 28 months of domestic matches.
During 2021 Kemar Roofe, Balogun, John Lundstram and Glen Kamara were all sent off in UEFA matches.

Since May2021 Walsh has referred 8 hun games. He has handed out 5 reds ( 4 against opponents and 1 today against Them). He has awarded 3 penalties to Them. It’s blatant bias. This guy needs investigation by the SFA.
We didn’t expect anything else sevco getting a penalty,quite surprised it was just one.
It’s not so much the penalties they get It’s the timing of them…… ALWAYS a safety net !!!! (;-0)

The worst is yet to come from him.
What Mr Dallas did NOT say or “tell us or anyone else” is .it will be the “cheating” referees who will “ask” for VAR to be used ONLY if they think they have missed something or to clarify a decision.. Mr Beaton had a better system than VAR he watched a rerun of incidents “days” later and said he was happy he got the calls right. With the referees we have like Madden and Beaton VAR will be an expensive “waste of time”
