BBC Scotland have attempted to airbrush Richard Foster’s attempt to attack Partick Thistle fans from their news services.Â
This weekend Amy Macdonald’s husband is likely to be picking up appearance fees as the state broadcaster provides blanket coverage of the Premiership fixtures on radio and television.Â
Ayr United predictably secured the win that left Dunfermline battling through the play-offs to stay in the Championship but another story dominated the match.Â
With Thistle trailing 2-0 at half-time some of their fans were critical of the efforts from the players as they made their way through part of the terracing to the temporary changing room.Â
Always wanting to be the centre of attention Foster decided to confront the abusive fans with two team-mates restraining the veteran full back. Not that you’ll know anything about that if you refer to the BBC Scotland website.Â
Foster was substituted 15 minutes into the second half with no disciplinary action taken by celebrity referee Bobby Madden.Â
Thistle manager Ian McCall missed the game through illness, it remains to be seen if Foster is involved in next week’s Play-Off against Inverness Caley Thistle.Â
