Mike Bushell has thanked his new army of twitter followers- consisting mainly of Celtic supporters.

On Wednesday night and Thursday morning most of the English sporting nation speculated over Liverpool winning an ‘unprecedented’ four trophies in one season.

With the League Cup bagged and a place secured in the FA Cup Final Jurgen Klopp’s side are 2-0 in front of Villarreal in the first leg of the Champions League Semi-Final while trailing Manchester City by a point in the EPL.

It could be a very memorable season but as Bushell pointed out on Breakfast TV another UK club has already ticked all of those boxes.

Celtic do have a vested interest in Liverpool’s Champions League progress, if they can complete the job on Villarreal the winners of the SPFL will gain direct entry into the group stage of the Champions League.

A home win in Sunday’s Glasgow Derby will put Celtic nine points clear with three matches left to play, securing the title unless they lose their three final matches and suffer a 20 plus goal difference swing.
