There was barely a pundit in Scotland that felt that Celtic would be able to put in a challenge for the SPFL title this season, a title victory was a write off.
Hugh Keevins, in typical style, predicted that Celtic would finish in third place, edged out of second place by Aberdeen who are currently 43 points- more than 14 wins- behind the hoops.
Fuelled by the gushing praise all around them Ibrox fan media was equally certain about the destiny of the 2021/22 title.
One trophy in nine years was about to be transformed into a first ever treble, the SPFL title was in the bag with just the domestic cups to be added, or so they thought…
