John Paul Taylor has had a busy day explaining the flag policy at tomorrow’s Scottish Cup semi-final.
Earlier in the week it was revealed on social media that a planned Tifo from the Green Brigade had been turned down by the Hampden authorities.
On the back of that a campaign quickly gathered momentum with Celtic fans encouraged to bring an Irish tri-colour to the National Stadium.
Some claims emerged that there would be restrictions of the size and number of flags allowed into Hampden but Celtic’s Supporters Liaison Officer has acted today to explain some of the issues involved.
The Tifo decision is apparently down to the clean up operation following today’s match between Hearts and Hibs, had that been explained earlier in the week the issue would have been much clearer.
Team wise the big issue for Ange Postecoglou is deciding who replaces the injured Giorgos Giakoumakis after starting with the same XI for three consecutive matches.
Just for clarification, there is no change to the standard policy for flags and banners at Hampden this weekend. CSC banners are fine, flags on sticks are fine as long as the stick is no longer than 1 metre ???
