Celtic transfer target is rumoured to be visiting Glasgow

According to the fairly well informed Celtic Underground Twitter Account, Christopher Scott is in Glasgow to take in tomorrow’s match against St Johnstone. 

With over 70,000 Twitter followers Celtic Underground has got more right than wrong down the years without ever chasing attention. 

Attacking midfielder Scott’s career appears to have stalled over the last 12 months at Bayern with his contract expiring in the summer. 

The 19-year-old will be out of contract at the end of this season with Celtic and a couple of English sides believed to be showing interest.

Under Ange Postecoglou Celtic will be an attractive proposition for young players on the continent. 

Moussa Dembele, Odsonne Edouard and Kris Ajer have all taken the plunge to move to Scotland, thrived on the intensity and demands before moving on. 

Celtic did sign three midfielders- Reo Hatate, Yosuke Ideguchi and Matt O’Riley- during the January transfer window but there is unlikely to be any sign of complacency as Postecoglou pushes the bar higher and higher.
