Charlie Adam earns special award from Chris Sutton

Dundee look nailed on for a quick return to The Championship but captain Charle Adam has the consolation of one trophy to his name. 

Saturday’s dive against St Johnstone quickly went viral and was greeted by a mix of astonishment and pity. 

Twenty-five yards from goal and heading towards the touchline Adam threw himself to the ground with no St Johnstone players anywhere near him. 

Fortunately Bobby Madden gave the former Ibrox starlet the John Lundstram treatment but social media was unforgiving with the video clip, which caught the eye of Sutton. 

At 36-years-old this may be Adam’s last season playing the game, as he moves into the media full-time one video clip is going to haunt him as he shares his opinion on others within the game.
