BBC Scotland are trying desperately to find a job for Graeme Murty.
During two stints as caretaker boss at Sevco Murty wasn’t once interviewed by the state broadcaster but since being sacked at the end of November he has been working his way into the Ibrox-centred broadcaster.
Five weeks ago the former Reading utility man was driving around Glasgow with Kenny Macintyre, recalling his experiences in the dug-out after the sudden departures of Mark Warburton and Pedro Caixinha.
Coaching offers for Murts seem to be thin on the ground, with two appearances on BBC Scotland over the last five weeks, sharing the inside track on all issues Ibrox it looks like a regular slot alongside Mark Hateley, Steven Thompson, Richard Foster and Kenny Miller on the circuit with BBC Scotland.
Stories about head-stands and chewing anoraks are unlikely to impress future employees, in Murts last three matches in charge of the Tribute Act they lost 4-0 and 5-0 to Celtic.
