The illusion of harmony at Ibrox was dramatically broken in Braga tonight as Ryan Jack reacted furiously to being substituted in the 1-0 defeat from Braga.

Last Friday the Scotland star was girning over disrespectful comments from Giorgos Giakoumakis- when he booted out at a bottle and his high quality Castore jacket he disrespected his team-mates and the traditions of the club dating back almost a decade to founding fathers like Lee Wallace, Kevin Kyle and Kirk Broadfoot.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst made three changes in the 63rd minute but while Leon Balogun and Fashion Sakala accepted the decision like professionals Jack’s petted lip was obvious to television viewers.

The Daily Record reported

Raging Ryan Jack lashed out at a bottle and a jacket after being replaced during Rangers clash with Braga.

The midfielder was one of the players Gio van Bronckhorst kept the faith with following the 2-1 defeat to Celtic going into the Europa League quarter-final.

However, with Rangers struggling to gain a foothold in the game Jack was hooked in the second half.

Jack came off the park alongside Leon Balogun and Fashion Sakala, with Borna Barisic, Kemar Roofe and Joe Aribo joining the action. With his side trailing 1-0, Jack was caught raging while being taken off the pitch.

The Scotland cap high-fived his manager, before he angrily kicked a bottle as he trudged off. He then kicked his Rangers jacket that he was handed as he made his way to the bench.

In December 2019 a tearful Jacko was comforted by James Tavernier following defeat in the final of the League Cup.
