Giorgos Giakoumakis spotted in Celtic training clip?

Ange Postecoglou provided an update on preparations for Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden. 

The Celtic boss discussed the build up, a clear week of training and touched on the injuries that Giorgos Giakoumakis and David Turnbull. 

Little was given away about how likely either player is to be available for Hampden but the training clip used at the start of the interview featured both players. 

It could of course have been an older clip of the team training at Lennoxtown but with exclusive access to the club Celtic TV usually include footage taken on the day.

Postecoglou isn’t likely to hold his media conference to preview the match until Friday with the guessing game continuing over the fitness of Giakoumakis and Turnbull. 

One small boost for Sunday is that in the Scottish Cup you can name nine substitutes, two more than in SPFL matches with Stephen Welsh and Mikey Johnston the most likely additions to Saturday’s matchday squad against St Johnstone.
