Green Brigade tricolour campaign takes to the streets

The campaign to swamp Hampden with tri-colours is being taken up very enthusiastically by some fans.
Deciding that the Green Brigade can’t arrange a pre-match Tifo has triggered a Plan B that looks like making a bigger impact than whatever may have been part of the display.
One footbridge close to Hampden has been used to promote the tricolour plan while a phone box somewhere has also been commandeered to the cause.

After refusing tifo access for Sunday, Hampden have advised that they will now enforce strict conditions on entry of flags. This will include 1 flag per person as well as size and material restrictions.

The Hampden capacity will be split in two for both sets of fans with Police Scotland and the Hampden security forces expected to be out in force on Sunday.
It is more than two years since both sets of fans were in the same ground with more than a token presence, with a number of issues upsetting supporters such as the Sydney Super Cup there is expected to be a very tense atmosphere around Hampden on Sunday.
