The Civil War at Ibrox could have reached the Blue Room according to probably the only Ibrox fan-site/ blog that can communicate in non-hysterical fashion.

With invites to media conferences and instant In The Know status available many sites are firmly on message in return for asking a weekly bland question which starts with ‘Hi Gio’ or alternatively ‘Good Morning Gio’.

Over the last month Dave King has cranked up his campaign to be paid off for his rapidly diluting share-holding, the South African based businessman has realised that Club 1872 don’t have the cash for that.

That fan group does have a decent shareholding of around 5% and was chosen for a very detailed attack on the current directors which drew an almost instant response warning of repercussions from a propaganda war.

It was an incredible over-reaction, presumably from David Graham, the former DUP councillor turned Communications director but that may not have been the case.

In a blog post critical of every area of the club but especially the boardroom Four Lads claim:

Then there is the petty squabbles at every single turn, the Dave King situation, the statements written by an angry boardroom members (Yes that horrendous statement answering club 1872 was boardroom penned and not by our director of Comms who took the flak despite warning against it) and wrong decisions at every turn.

The big issue now facing the club is the launch of the Season Ticket Renewal campaign, if things don’t go well in Braga on Thursday a difficult situation could become impossible.

On March 22 the club stated:

The Men’s First Team and Women’s Team are competing for major honours, both domestically and in Europe.

It is deeply regrettable that the same small rump of “supporters” remains intent on causing damage to our club. It is particularly concerning to note the timing they have chosen to launch their latest attack.

It is lost on nobody that those intent on creating maximum disruption are those who have either enjoyed, or craved, a role within our club.

The collective desire of our Board, Management and players, is to have unity of purpose over the coming months. Rest assured, we will address the disruptors and their propaganda war at the end of this season. For now, nothing matters but results on the field. Together, we are stronger.

BYE BYE SEVCO 5088 LET THE BASTARDS DIE JUST LIKE OLDCO 1872 IN 2012 LIQUIDATION.

please let them go to hell asap

  • Seppington says:

Let them die but make sure the corspe is cremated and the ashes scattered to the four winds. A second Ayebrokes liquidation event is an opportunity for civic Scotland that must not be passed up a second time. For the good of the nation (hell, for all nations) “Rangers” in all forms need to be eradicated permanently.
