Twelve months ago ‘Live It Up’ was the tune that gloating bears turned to to reinforce their Superiority Complex.
After nine years on the outside looking in at Celtic’s total domination of the Scottish games the freaky Behind Closed Doors season provided light even if the fans never got closer than watching on a stream.
Throughout the summer the feel-good factor intensified, Celtic were in disarray, knocked back by Eddie Howe while Mister Gerrard planned towards the Champions League with Swedish diddies Malmo about to be put in their place.
Shiny faced vloggers gloated on line about the joys ahead- a domestic treble, Champions League Tunes at the Big House with Selik folding like a House of Cards, exactly as Mister King had promised.
