Humbled- Ibrox club thrilled by prestigeous European gift

With their realistic trophy hopes now heavily dependent on the Scottish Cup the Tribute Act have decided to show off the arrival of a model train from Poland.

Lech Poznan are celebrating their Centenary by sending a choo-choo to clubs that they have played in Europe with the commercial brains at Ibrox seeing the arrival of the gift as providing some comfort to suffering fans.

Since the shameful scenes at Sunday’s Glasgow derby the Ibrox club have been keeping a low profile with even the dignified Old Firm archway binned the morning after.

While they show off their shiny model train it seems that no progress has been made towards discovering how glass made its way into the goalmouth ahead of the second half of Sunday’s match.

Joe Hart had to point the glass out to Willie Collum before the Ibrox groundstaff reluctantly appeared to clear up the glass.

Police Scotland have appealed for witnesses to the incident which seems to have escaped the CCTV coverage as well as the eyes of numerous stewards and Police Officers.
