Warbo had 20 months in charge of Sevco during which some excitable pundits claimed that he was a future England manager in the making.Â
Life with the big boys in the Premiership proved too much for the former city high-flier. After losing to Brendan Rodgers at Celtic Park, Hampden and Ibrox he was informed that he had resigned from the manager’s job.Â
After 37 matches in charge of Nottingham Forest Warbo was again emptied, now at the age of 59 he is looking for another job in management or a career with BBC Scotland.Â
After losing to Hibs in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final Warbo signed Joey Barton, Nicky Kranjcar, Jordan Rossiter and Pip Senderos for the next stage of the Ibrox Revolution.
He has left QPR as he is taking Southgate’s job.
Well that’s what Jackass Jackson and Co shouted when he was the sevco manager, that he was the next in line for the England manager.
