It seems that ‘a group of Rangers fans’ are under investigation for singing anti-Catholic songs in a Kings Park street before yesterday’s Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden.

Conversely thousands could be heard singing The Billy Boys late in the second half of the match with no reports at the moment of any action being taken.

That song was long and audible on Premier Sports coverage of the match, 20 hours after the final whistle there has been no comment from the Scottish Football Association or Police Scotland about singing inside the National Stadium.

The Ibrox club were given approximately 25,000 tickets for the match which were balloted to known Season Ticket holders.

Apart from the Chelsea fans claim a favoured excuse is that any misbehaviour came from a tiny minority of supporters.

It would be an extreme stretch on credibility for anyone to claim that less than 13,000 fans were singing their hatred of Catholics at yesterday’s match.

Really it’s getting to the stage now that Bobby Madden should not be allowed anyware near a Celtic v rangers match as it’s very obvious to whom he favours that for sure and celtic should insist on his removal from that fixture as from now.
