Nick Walsh will referee Saturday’s match at Fir Park where Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side are the visitors.

The Bearsden based PE teacher was in charge of the same two clubs back in October when they met at Fir Park. Walsh was also appointed for both of Hibs’ visits to Ibrox this season.

In his three matches before the turn of the year involving the Ibrox club an opposing player was sent off in each fixture.

Last October Ryan Porteous was red carded 30 minutes into his side’s visit to Ibrox with Hibs winning 1-0, they eventually lost 2-1.

At the end of October Stephen O’Donnell was sent off, in December Hearts were down to 10 men when Josh Ginnelly was sent off against their visitors from Ibrox.

There was a surprise for Malky Mackay in January when no Ross County players were sent off by Walsh as the Dingwall club earned a point in a 3-3 draw.

No red cards were issued by Walsh when he took charge of two Celtic v St Johnstone matches in the autumn.

These biased rangers supporting referees should be no where near the games of their favourite team.look at maddens absolute disaster of a game when he allowed the rangers midfield to kick and grab Celtic players ..I will be surprised if Motherwell get anything from this match .
