Despite being a Celtic player for nine years little is heard about Tom Rogic off the pitch.Â
Where he features in the list of 21st Century Celts is up for debate but outside a certain Swede there aren’t many with a goal collection to compare with the Australian.Â
At the age of 29 there is still plenty of years left in his legs, frighteningly he almost left Celtic in the summer of 2020 with his style not appreciated by Neil Lennon.Â
Most fans thought that he had gone off the boil but for whatever reason Rogic resisted a move to Qatar and is in the midst of another incredible chapter in his career.Â
Interviews with the midfielder are rare, even after his many significant goals but in February he did speak to Sky Sports after Celtic won 4-0 at Motherwell. His comments upset some, apparently disrespectful about the events of last season.Â

We’ve been top of the pile for the last decade. It’s a familiar position for us. Last season was disappointing but it’s been a brilliant season for a lot of us (so far).Â
We just need to keep working hard, keep our heads down, focus on the next game and not get too carried away.Â
Everyone was watching us after that result (3-0 Glasgow derby) it was important to back it up. We’ve been doing that for a few months now, putting some consistency together. Â
We’ve been playing well and maybe people are starting to take a bit more notice. But for us it’s just about keeping focused on the next game and working hard.Â
