Richard Foster likes to play the victim- card, the misunderstood genius that fans seem to pick on.
A season long loan spell at Rangers isn’t a good look for an Aberdeen player, since then he has caused trouble almost everywhere he has turned up.
Spells at St Johnstone and Ross County both ended abruptly, famously getting his wife Amy McDonald to give away dressing room secrets about Saints boss Tommy Wright.

Oh Fozzie is Jags man, who wears a Rangers hat, And if the Huns are playing, He'll commentate on that. He'll hit you with the left, he'll hit you with the right. Don't dare to criticize him, Though he's absolutely shite.

Between BBC Scotland shifts drooling over the Ibrox Tribute Act Foster puts in regular appearances for Partick Thistle.
During the winter Thistle got themselves into a position to be realistic contenders for automatic promotion but tailed off rapidly with manager Ian McColl describing the win over Queen of the South as dugmeat.
Thistle ended their Championship season with a 3-1 defeat away to Ayr United, sneaking into the final play-off slot by being not as bad as Raith Rovers who recently won at Firhill.
With his media profile and celebrity status some Thistle fans targeted Foster after the defeat at Somerset Park.
Over the weekend Foster will be part of the BBC Scotland team desperately hoping for a Celtic defeat in Sunday’s Glasgow Derby.

Trying it with a boy who's just turned 18, he wouldn't have tried it in with the old school

Maybe he wasn’t trying to fight the fans, perhaps he just wanted to get the bucket hat or jester hat for wearing on his next appearance on Sportscene. ?

His wife wears the trousers in that household. His hard man act is merely over compensation for his caponised status, but being a mason guarantees him a gig on BBC Scotland, no matter how shite he is as a football analyst or commentator.
He is merely the latest in a long line of mediocrities whose common denominator is having played for the old klub.
