Celtic fans matched the performance of the players on the park as they lapped up every moment of the 7-0 win over St Johnstone.
From Reo Hatate’s opener to Liel Abada popping in with number seven it was almost the perfect day with just a first half injury to Giorgos Giakoumakis to cause concern. As a more than decent consolation Kyogo Furuhashi made his first appearance of 2022.
Despite the cold the sun shone over the east end of Glasgow, a week after watching the Glasgow derby from afar the fans were very much involved in the slaying of last season’s double cup winners.

When almost 50,000 get involved the three newish stands are quite a sight as the various huddles merge into seas of green while the match goes on unaffected.
With three more home matches to come and a big lead at the top of the table further celebrations are likely before the curtain comes down on a highly memorable season.
