Ange Postecoglou will keep everyone guessing until 10.45 on Sunday morning over whether he will start Kyogo Furuhashi, Giorgos Giakoumakis or both in the Glasgow Derby.

Since the turn of the year Giakoumakis has been Celtic’s main attacking option but last Sunday at Ross County Kyogo started- and scored in- his first match for four months.

Both strikers offer different routes to goal but with two wingers essential to the way that Postecoglou sets his side up it is difficult to see how both can be in from the start.

At Hampden two weeks ago neither was available for a starring slot, coming off the bench in the second half Kyogo looked out of sorts and unable to pick up the pace of the game.

Two weeks later both men are fit and available but Postecoglou was giving nothing away when he spoke to Sky Sports News at lunchtime today.

Sky Reporter: Is there a way to play them both in your starting team?

AP: We can play them both, I guess from my perspective every week you kind of look at the line up that will give you the best chance of success.

It is not always about who starts. I think when we started out, what has got us to the top of the table, since January we’ve had contributions from a whole host of players. They’ve stepped up.

At the end of the year we didn’t have Giakoumakis or Kyogo, that was a tough time for us. Right now we’ve got both of them, yes both of them can start but if one or the other starts we know that the other can come on and make an impact and that is going to be important.

The Celtic boss was speaking on the back of a run of 24 wins and four draws in his side’s last 28 SPFL matches.

After losing three of their first six matches Celtic found themselves outside of the top six when they drew at home to Dundee United in match seven but since then the SPLF record has been a series of victories interrupted only by draws against Livingston, St Mirren and Jibs with none of those three clubs finishing in the top half.
