Last Thursday the striker was pictured at Glasgow Airport in crutches prompting speculation that he had sustained an injury.
On Friday Giovanni van Bronckhorst confirmed that Morelos would miss the Glasgow Derby, on Tuesday the club revealed that the injury would rule the Colombian out of action for the rest of the season.
