Woops- Hugh Keevins in denial over tipping Aberdeen to finish ahead of Celtic in SPFL

As news came through of Aberdeen losing at home to Livingston Hugh Keevins became rather forgetful.

Apparently things have been going wrong at Pittodrie since the appointment of Stephen Glass as manager. That was back on March 23 when Celtic were a month into the search for Neil Lennon’s successor.

Strangely enough when the team at Super Scoreboard were giving their predictions on Day One of the new season Keevins tipped the Dons to finish above Celtic, providing the token challenge to the magnificent Mister Gerrard at Ibrox.

After 34 matches Celtic are 49 points clear of Aberdeen, in the dug-out Absolutely Not Good Enough has outlasted Glass and Mister Gerrard.

Keevins does have form for dismissing the prospects of new Celtic managers. In 2016 he went along with big Derek Johnstone’s prediction that Mister Warburton would take the SPFL title to Ibrox- an invincible Treble put that idea and Warbo to rest.
