German fans are welcome here- RB Leipzig recommend famous Celtic pub to their fans

An official guide to Glasgow produced by RB Leipzig has tipped fans off that they will be very welcome in The Brazen Head. 

The Gorbals pub is recognised far and wide as ‘a Celtic Shop’ with the achievements of the club from an Invincible Treble through to a Quadruple Treble proudly on show outside for any passing visitors. 

Located just south of the River Clyde The Bazen is virtually halfway between Ibrox and Celtic Park but almost all visitors prefer to head east rather than west. 

RB’s City Guide explains: 

Glasgow’s pubs and restaurants offer plenty of culinary delights. You can’t go wrong with the classic fish ‘n’ chips , the unofficial British national dish. The Scotch pie , a ground beef pie, is also commonly sold in stadiums across the country. The braver visiting fans dare to try a Scottish specialty: Haggis . It is a sheep’s stomach filled with the animal’s heart, liver and lungs, along with onions and oatmeal. Maybe not for everyone…  

A great way to sample Scotch whiskey is with a tour of the modern Clydeside Distillery , which as the name suggests is situated right on the river (100 Stobcross Rd, Glasgow G3 8QQ). If you prefer a Guinness, go to one of the many pubs in the city, for example “The Counting House” , right on George Square (2 St Vincent Pl, Glasgow G1 2DH). In “The Brazen Head” (1-3 Cathcart Rd, Glasgow G42 7BE) supporters of Celtic Glasgow, our opponent’s archrival, are to be found in particular. German fans are welcome here. 

With around 3,000 German fans in the city more than a few are likely to be around Celtic Park and visiting the Celtic Superstore for some gifts. 

Celtic and RB Leipzig played in the 2018/19 Europa League group stage with each club winning at home with Celtic progressing after Rosenborg secured a draw in Germany on Matchday Six. 

With Celtic getting very close to securing the SPFL Premiership title it looks like the good times will be returning for the Brazen and the growing number of Celtic/Irish pubs that has spread from the Gallowgate into the Merchant City.
