Michael Stewart has given his backing for the ethos and structure of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Although it is a few decades since Eintracht were considered as one of Germany’s leading clubs they do have a strong fanbase that can be trusted to watch a beamback of tonight’s Europa League Final from Seville.

Across Europe many clubs have heavily politicised supports, in the case of Eintracht at every level they are opposed to the right-wing groups prominent in Germany.

With 100,000 members Eintracht don’t require box-ticking fan forums to keep in touch with the passions and issues that matter to their supporter/members.

To reach tonight’s final Eintracht have beaten Real Betis, Barcelona and West Ham, reaching the final unbeaten.
