Dave Murray poured millions of other peoples pound notes down the drain trying to emulate the Lions, including signing Miller twice, but never got near lifting the only prize that major European clubs count.
Now, a decade after the club went into liquidation their Tribute Act are on the brink of Scotland’s greatest ever success by winning the Europa League.
On April 23 caretaker Falkirk boss Miller was guiding his club to a 2-1 defeat at home to Alloa, Falkirk are looking elsewhere for a permanent manager.
