Chris Sutton reacts to Kenny Miller’s trashing of the Lisbon Lions

Chris Sutton couldn’t resist the opportunity to laugh at one of his media partners and the views of their new star signing. 

As well as sharing his thoughts with Radio Clyde, Radio Scotland and Sky Sports Kenny Miller will give his exclusive thoughts to the Daily Record’s rapidly declining army of readers. 

And to announce his arrival the failed former Falkirk manager is explaining to Record readers why beating Eintracht Frankfurt next week will finally eclipse the achievements of the Lisbon Lions. 

Dave Murray poured millions of other peoples pound notes down the drain trying to emulate the Lions, including signing Miller twice, but never got near lifting the only prize that major European clubs count. 

Now, a decade after the club went into liquidation their Tribute Act are on the brink of Scotland’s greatest ever success by winning the Europa League. 

On April 23 caretaker Falkirk boss Miller was guiding his club to a 2-1 defeat at home to Alloa, Falkirk are looking elsewhere for a permanent manager.
