Goldson prepares Ibrox fans for high profile exit

Connor Goldson has published a tear-jerking Instagram message ahead of becoming a free agent and walking out of Ibrox. 

The defender put in a nightmare performance at the Europa League Final against Eintracht Frankfurt but claimed the second trophy of his four year Ibrox career three days later in the Scottish Cup Final. 

While Kemar Roofe and John Lundstram arrived on contracts believed to be worth around £45,000/week Goldson has remained on the deal that he signed in 2018 when he moved from Brighton. 

May 31 is the final day of contract for many footballers with Goldson steering clear of the media in Seville and at Hampden to avoid questions about his future. 

John Souttar will be moving in to replace Goldson at Ibrox with Giovanni van Bronckhorst told to look for free transfers and loan signings despite record turnover from the Europa League run.
