Michael Stewart has had a very eventful day on Twitter.
Late this morning the former Manchester United midfielder published a very detailed apology to James Traynor that were made on Radio Scotland two years ago. Hopefully the apology provides some comfort to Traynor and his family.
Stewart has had an uneasy relationship with the Scottish media, needing to be part of it but privately highly critical of the Succulent Lamb culture that Graeme Spiers exposed after dining out with Traynor and David Murray.
With appearances on BBC Scotland and BT Sport as well as a column in The Sun Stewart has the vehicles to share his opinions although at times they have to be reigned in.
Sharing the clip where Jon Dahl Tomasson taunted the Scottish media is a fairly subtle move with finances at Ibrox and the need for Champions League money strictly out of bounds despite losses of £23.5m for the year to June 2021.

It's the satisfaction in his smile, the head nodding and glint in his eyes that makes that statement sweeter. John Dahl, though, made the rookie mistake of thinking those Lads were clever..
