Nothing has yet been agreed over a permanent deal for Cameron Carter-Vickers but Larry Henry Jr expects developments after Celtic’s final game of the season, against Motherwell on May 14.
Henry writes for US website SBI Soccer and has been very accurate with updates on Carter-Vickers since he reported on Celtic’s interest last July when Ange Postecoglou’s side were in pre-season training in Wales.
It took until the final hour of the summer transfer window for the move to be completed but since joining on loan Carter-Vickers has started all but one of Celtic’s SPFL matches.
Celtic continues its talks to add Cameron Carter-Vickers this summer, a source close to the player confirmed. Despite other reports from abroad, nothing has been agreed upon yet. Deal likely to get done after Celtic’s final league matches. #USMNT

Newcastle is still in mix, but going over finances. Celtic has been in talks with Tottenham over a transfer too. Bournemouth’s interest quieted but has since picked back up.

Since the turn of the year Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt have played every minute of Celtic’s SPFL matches, while every other outfield position has experienced some rotation Postecoglou has stuck faithfully with his central defenders.
Spurs chief Daniel Levy is one of the most experienced negotiators in the transfer market with any deal for Carter-Vickers likely to have extensive add-ons.
