John Terry turned a few heads as he turned up in the Directors Box at Celtic Park to watch the Glasgow Derby.

After a lifetime at the cutting edge the former England and Chelsea skipper is currently ‘between opportunities’ with time on his hands.

According to his Instagram profile he enjoyed a luxury weekend in a Scottish hotel before getting back to the real world in the east end for yesterday’s derby clash.

Among his 6.7m Instagram followers John McGinn seemed impressed with the Aston Villa midfielder a former Celtic season ticket holder.

McGinn and Terry enjoyed a couple of seasons together in the Midlands, helping Villa to a dramatic Play Off victory followed by just over two seasons together in the EPL.

Yesterday’s result wasn’t quite what the fans were looking for but next Saturday Celtic can virtually clinch the title by beating Hearts to ensure that their city rivals can only match their points total with the hoops having a vastly superior goal difference.
