A leaked image on Twitter suggests that Adidas are about to revive a classic kit from the early nineties for next seasons Celtic away kit.

The era of Stuart Slater, Pat McGinley and Andy Peyton wasn’t the most memorable or successful in Celtic’s history but even in the darkest days Umbro produced a kit that provided the fans with some pride.

Mainly black with thin green pinstripes there was an Italian look to the kit which was also worn with pride by Paul McStay and John Collins while Liam Brady was in charge of the club.

With two matches left to be played this season thoughts, rumours and concept kids will be floating around for fans to judge.

Footy Headlines seem to get most of the leaked kits but with production well underway a shirt or two can slip out the factories ahead of the official release.
