Murray Park got an overnight makeover with even the staunch residents of Bearsden unable to blank out Celtic’s title celebrations.

With security staff already posted to Seville an enterprising Celtic fan has pasted a giant sized sticker of Ange Postecoglou on the entrance kiosk to the hallowed soccer academy.

Across the west of Scotland and in some places further afield plans are underway for a day of celebration that won’t result in the trashing of George Square, streets turned into public lavatories and locals placed under house arrest.

From the Merchant City through Glasgow Cross, along the Gallowgate celebration plans are underway to mark Postecoglou’s title triumph which has astonished experts ranging from Hugh Keevins to Kris Boyd and many, many more.

The Celtic team is expected to arrive at the stadium around 10.30am to a great reception, the match kicks off at 12.15 on Sky Sports with the trophy presentation kicking off another round of celebrations but maybe not around Murray Park.
