The Ibrox Tribute Act have picked up their eighth fine from UEFA for issues over the course of the season.

None of the fines have been for racist singing by their fans which caused two partial stadium closures in 2019.

The latest fine comes from the home leg of the semi-final against RB Leipzig with The Sun reporting:

RANGERS have been hit with an EIGHTH fine of the season from Uefa taking their tally to more than £100,000 this season.

The governing body have dished out a cash punishment of around £3,190 for supporters lighting fireworks in last month’s clash with the German outfit.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side lost the tie 1-0 courtesy of Angelino’s late strike before winning 3-1 to secure a Europa League final spot.

The latest cash-hit is another blow to the Ibrox side who have been hammered by some of their fans’ behaviour on their European adventure this season.

Uefa’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary body have now handed down more than a six-figure sum of fines to the Light Blues.

Next week Connor Goldson, Allan McGregor, Steve Davis and Leon Balogun will be out of contract with John Souttar of Hearts moving to the Europa League runners-up.
