One word- The ultimate invincible hero pays respect to Scott Brown

As a new Celtic title success came within touching distance one very familiar figure was calling it a day, hanging up his boots, calling time on the most decorated career of this century.

He played against Celtic for Hibs and Aberdeen but it will be as the skipper and driving force behind the second nine-in-a-row that he will be best remembered. Alongside an invincible treble, a double treble, treble treble and finally at Hampden in December 2020 a quadruple treble.

Tom Rogic was with Brown throughout those dramatic days, sometimes scoring dramatic goals, at other times on the sidelines admiring the ability, drive and inspiration of the Fifer.

Brown never got the send off that he deserved from Celtic, there was no nine-in-a-row presentation but with his playing commitments over there is an almighty welcome waiting for him back at Celtic Park- even if it is in the opposition dug-out.

That one word says it all,. Never thought I would ever see such a successful Celtic captain as broony ( I was still really young when cesar was the main man and my memories are pretty vague) . Can’t wait to see him in paradise again and being acknowledged by the club and especially the fans .

Remember when he came in. Thought he was a complete waste of money. Then he moved to a more defensive midfield role and became our rock and an absolute legend. He is now in the rarified air of Mcgrory and McNeil.
Never been so happy to be wrong.
Want to see a statue of him doing the Broonie at Paradise built so big and so high, it can be seen from Ibrokex.
