South Melbourne have published an On This Day flashback that will be meaningful to Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.
Thirty-one years ago the young full-back was getting some legends from one of the true greats in football- Ferenc Puskas.
Those lessons in the early nineties made a big impact on the future Celtic boss with those days at South Melbourne linking together the golden age of Hungarian football in the fifties through to the modern era of Angeball at Celtic Park.
Today is May 5th and a date forever etched in our history. On this day in 1991, we would win our second national championship after a dramatic penalty shootout against Melbourne Croatia.
It would be Ange and Ferenc Puskas who would proudly lift the trophy on that day. pic.twitter.com/hCT6OWUghQ

The Puskas links were brought up when Celtic played Ferencvaros in the Europa League with Postecoglou happy to go down memory lane recalling the impact that the Real Madrid legend had on his football philosophy.
