Sky Sports aren’t likely to win any popularity contests among Celtic supporters but without Kris Boyd they earned pass marks for last night’s coverage from Tannadice.Â
Bringing in John Hartson to replace the former Kilmarnock striker was a good move although starting coverage 30 minutes before kick-off suggested that the broadcaster wasn’t overly excited for the match.Â
Eilidh Barbour had recovered from Sunday’s uncomfortable night in the company of Bill Copeland with the performance of Dundee United making the 90 minutes well worth watching.Â

With the final whistle confirming Celtic’s coronation the celebrations were underway, Sky tended to focus on a few interviews on the pitch while the players celebrated with the fans but the broadcaster redeemed themselves with an 80 second compilation video that captured the main moments of the season- finished by Joe Hart’s champagne attack on a dressing room camera.Â
