Celtic TV did the trophy presentation day justice with full coverage of events before, during and after today’s 6-0 win over Motherwell.
Simon Donnelly and John Hartson provided enthusiastic analysis in the studio with both men delighted to look on at a scene that they had both experienced.
Afterwards Ange Postecoglou and Callum McGregor were interviewed live on the pitch before that familiar trophy was lifted by the captain.
For the vast majority of the squad it was their first taste of success at Celtic with six goals, springtime sunshine and 60,000 delighted fans providing the perfect backdrop to the party.
Matt O’Riley and Giorgos Giakoumakis could hardly hear the questions put to them with the enormity of the reaction from the stands more than justifying their decisions to move to Celtic over the last year.
After a lap of honour the players were reunited with family as WAGS, kids, Mum’s and Dad’s got a taste of what success feels like.
