Benji Siegrist is still in talks with other clubs despite suggestions that his move to Celtic was close to being completed.
At the age of 30 after four seasons at Dundee United the keeper faces the most significant decision of his career.
The choice between finances and playing time is difficult one for goalkeepers to make. Since joining Celtic last August Joe Hart has played in all but two matches following his debut.
Looks like Siegrist talking to yourselves and other clubs … maybe he won’t get a number one job like he wanted … and take the best ‘reserve’ offer he can find. https://t.co/G4c7xFjKQi

Blackpool and Preston might offer more realistic opportunities of first team football but one injury to Hart could thrust Scott Bain or AN Other into the firing line of the Champions League in three months’ time.
Celtic currently have Tobi Oluwayemi as third choice keeper, after alternating in the Lowland League last season he will be looking for senior experience to advance his Celtic prospects.
Conor Hazard and Ross Doohan are still contracted to Celtic but appear to have dropped completely out of first team contention.
I’m hoping the chance to be part of something special, and possibly experience Champions league football, will prove to be irresistible to Benji.
Doohan left with that block of youth players:
Jonathon Afolabi X
Barry Coffey X
Luca Connell X
Karamoko Dembele X
Ross Doohan X
Ewan Henderson X
Kerr McInroy X
Ryan Mullen X
Brody Paterson X
Editor: All guesswork, no word on Afolabi, Karamoko offered a new contract (ensures a development fee).
