BBC Scotland (Ibrox) Gossip excelled itself with Monday Special edition

The newshounds on the BBC Scotland Sport website have excelled themselves today with FOUR Ibrox related stories getting top billing.

Not even interest from Atletico Madrid in Josip Juranovic could distract the team at the state broadcaster to look outside of their Ibrox bubble.

Last week was dominated by the Fake News of interest in Alfredo Morelos from Sevilla, today the lead story is on alleged interest in Sunderland’s Ross Stewart.

With a year left on his deal Sunderland are keen to agree a new deal with the striker that led their promotion push back to The Championship, if Stewart has other ideas a large number of Championship clubs will be happy to offer him the sort of deal that Martyn Waghorn got from Derby after impressive scoring for Ipswich Town.

Next up to provide the bears with some comfort is a far fetched story from the Express that Ivan Lepinjica of Rijeka as refused to rule out a move to Ibrox (or anywhere else with a pay rise).

Story number three rules Derby’s Tom Lawrence out of a move to Ibrox with the fourth most important story involving Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk dropping their interest in Aaron Ramsey.

As well as having Tom English, Steven Thompson, Kenny Macintyre, Alasdair Lamont and Jane Lewis on presenting duties BBC Scotland can call on Kenny Miller, Richard Forster and Neil McCann for expert analysis.

On Saturday the ‘race for Aribo’ dominated.

For the 10th successive window BBC Scotland are still pushing Alfredo Morelos transfer tales.
