Alexandro Bernabei is looking forward to getting the Ange Postecoglou treatment.

A year after arriving in Scotland, Celtic’s first Australian manager has stamped his personality and standards all over the hoops.

We Never Stop was quickly picked up from Lennoxtown training sessions and became more than a catch phrase as the season developed.

Postecoglou demonstrated the art of management in his early months in charge of Celtic, getting a tune out of Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard while preparing for their departures while bringing in Jota, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Cameron Carter-Vickers on deadline day to reshape te squad.

Further developments came in January that drove Celtic to the title with Bernabei the first major addition as Postecoglou develops strength and depth ahead of his second season in charge.

The new bhoy told the Celtic website:

I spoke to the manager and he said he believed in me and my quality and that I can adapt to the team quickly.

This is my first time in Scotland and Glasgow and I’ve seen the city on the internet and it looks very beautiful, so I’m excited to be able to get to know it more.

The objective is to become champion and we want to achieve big things as a club and I would like to achieve all of our objectives this year.

A five year deal is a big commitment with Celtic fans getting their first look at the Argentinian bhoy next week when the hoops play two friendly matches in Austria.
