With the anger over drinking toilet water in Seville and the cinch sponsorship of the SPFL still fresh Ibrox fans have been given a new outlet to be outraged over.

Overlooking the fact that Giovanni van Bronckhorst hasn’t been able to spend any of his £50m transfer warchest, Ibrox fans are pure ragin about having to play Ross County away on December 24.

The Daily Record reports:

If travelling fans are taken into consideration over the festive period then the Ibrox legions need to be convinced.

For the Light Blues face their longest possible away day on Christmas Eve.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his men head to Dingwall to face Ross County with a full Scottish Premiership card on December 24.

Gers title defence stuttered in the Highlands last season when they were held to a 3-3 draw in a thriller.

And fans on social media aren’t too happy at the timing of their next trip to the Global Energy Stadium.

One wrote: “Dingwall on Christmas Eve. That’ll be a few Christmas dinners ruined.”

Another said: “A trip to Dingwall on Christmas Eve screams ‘for the fans’.”

While one fan simply said: “Christmas is cancelled.”

Ross County will give their December 24 visitors an allocation of around 2,000 tickets, it isn’t compulsory to attend the match.

Out of 33 fixtures announced this morning it is good going from the SPFL that fans of the tribute act can only find one fixture to be angered about.
